There are three country TAB race meetings scheduled to take place today, Tuesday December 7th, giving punters a number of exciting showdowns to place a wager on and enjoy a win before the group racing action this weekend.

Kilmore will host the sole TAB meet for Victoria today starting with the $12,000 Christmas Meeting 21 December Maiden Plate (1200m).

In New South Wales the best racing this Tuesday will be at Tamworth where the first of eight races, the $10,000 Tooheys Maiden Handicap (1000m), kicks things off at 1:50pm (AEDST).

Races four – eight are all good quality handicap events worth checking out the odds on and our picks of the day are #2 Lifou in Race 4 and #4 Boomerang in Race 5.

Townsville in Queensland also has eight races running today with the $10,000 Book a Xmas Function 18th December Maiden Handicap (1200m) first on the card at 2:10pm (AEDST).

Races seven and eight are the highlight events and in Race 7 – the $12,000 Townsville Events Class 5 Handicap (1200m) #3 Wandering Star looks hard to beat, while in Race 8 – the $12,000 Townsville Engineering Industries Open Handicap (1200m) again #3 Cheval Argente looks the pick of the field coming off consistent form and drawn well in barrier two.
