Saturday Horse Racing – 4th of December

Today, Saturday December 4, there is lots happening in the world of racing around the country with a number of excellent black-type features and generous betting markets open on 13 TAB race meetings at both metropolitan and country tracks.

Five top-class metro meets will hold the most appeal for punters getting in on the Saturday racing action, with premier racecourses in Victoria, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth all hosting events.

The best series of Saturday races are those taking place at Ascot Racecourse for the 2010 Kingston Town Classic Day in Perth, where the $500,000 Group 1 Kingston Town Classic (1800m) is the marquee event everyone should have a bet on.

There is also Group racing taking place in Queensland with Eagle Farm’s Group 3 George Moore Stakes (1200m) and plenty of quality Listed features including the Festival Stakes (1500m) at Rosehill Gardens.

Other TAB meets worth having a punt on include those at the Gold Coast, Toowoomba, Werribee, Wagga and Darwin, so whatever racing scene you follow there is something on the Saturday card for you!
