Randwick Saturday Race Tips – November 27th

This Saturday November 27th, Randwick’s Kensington Racecourse in Sydney will host New South Wale’s major TAB race meeting of the weekend with a great eight-event programme ready to light up the track.

Ascot may be hosting the premier Saturday race meeting with the Festival of Perth Racing’s Winterbottom Stakes Day, but the Randwick race card at Kensington still has plenty of top betting opportunities!

All of Sydney’s top trainers including Grahame Begg, Bart Cummings, Gerald Ryan, Clarry Conners, Peter Snowden, David Payne and Gai Waterhouse have horses lining up on Saturday.

Top races not to miss include Race 6 – the $70,000 Sharp Handicap (1800m) where Bart Cummings’ Joe Blow and the Peter Snowden-trained Status Quo will face off, and Race 7 – the $70,000 AJC Corporate Membership Handicap (1400m) where Gai Waterhouse’s Rhythm Of Dance is our top pick.

See below for our top three selections in each Randwick race tomorrow. Note the first horse listed is the runner we rate special to win at their current price through Luxbet and the following are for the places.

When it comes to putting your bets down, avoid the queues at the TAB and get in on the action from home through Luxbet who also have great betting bonuses on offer!

Randwick Race 1 – Start of Summer Raceday Handicap (1000m)

  • #6 Tunahog from #2 Mumslad and #1 Delago Bolt – Bet now at Luxbet

Tunahog is the clear favourite and best not to lay. Good weight with 55.5kg and ready to return to their consistent form – career record three wins from four starts – after nearly a five month spell.

Randwick Race 2 – Triple M Grill Team Handicap (1550m)

  • #3 Lady’s Angel from #6 Dances On Waves and #1 Theophorus – Bet now at Luxbet

Day for the favourites and Lady’s Angel is another odds-on runner that looks hard to beat. Joseph Pride’s four-year-old Arena mare Lady’s Angel is coming off back-to-back wins in Sydney, last start over 1500m at Rosehill. Good form, good weight.

Randwick Race 3 – Macau Jockey Club Handicap (1150m)

  • #3 Skytrain from #1 Keen Commander and #5 Motspur- Bet now at Luxbet

Skytrain is another favourite in the markets not to bet against. Good barrier three draw for Peter Snowden’s well-bred Lonhro gelding. Resumed after a short four week spell with a first-up third at Rosehill and will only improve again here.

Randwick Race 4 – Sydney City Toyota Handicap (1150m)

  • #2 Liechtenstein from #8 Starlene and #9 Lotus Flower – Bet now at Luxbet

Better value in Race 4 – Liechtenstein at good odds to cause an upset over the favourite. Out a little wider, but the gelding is coming off two strong runs for the season and looks prime to score their second career win.

Randwick Race 5 – Korea Racing Authority Handicap (1550m)

  • #5 Dances On Waves from #11 Upon This Rock and #12 Star Leader – Bet now at Luxbet

Dances On Waves the classiest runner in the field, Gerald Ryan’s Anabaa mare ready make her spring record two from two after winning first-up over 1400m at Rosehill a fortnight ago.  Stepping up in weight quite a bit, but should be able to handle it.

Randwick Race 6 – Sharp Handicap (1800m)

  • #1 Altier from #2 Beijing Boy and #12 Turnstiles – Bet now at Luxbet

Wide open market here and we are tipping top-weight Altier for the win. Drawn on the rails, coming off some brilliant form including a last start victory over this distance at Rosehill makes the Gregory Hickman-trained gelding the best pick.

Randwick Race 7 – AJC Corporate Membership Handicap (1400m)

  • #3 Rhythm Of Dance from #9 Our Boy Lukas and #2 Morosi – Bet now at Luxbet

Rhythm Of Dance is the current favourite with a good draw in gate four and coming off back-to-back wins around Sydney. This Gai Waterhouse-trained Encosta De Lago four-year-old is full of ability and has the imposing career record of three wins and a second from six starts to prove it.

Randwick Race 8 – Randwick Betting Auditorium Handicap (1150m)

  • #7 Kiss ‘n Chase from #16 Lucky Elmo and #8 Shanty – Bet now at Luxbet

The John O’Shea-trained Red Ransom mare Kiss ‘n Chase is a good value pick here, has champion hoop Nash Rawiller in the mount and a good second up record to continue. Also dropping back from 59kg to 56.5kg which is another added advantage.
