Today, Saturday November 20th, punters are treated to a brilliant array of country and metropolitan TAB race meets with 15 scheduled around the country.

The major race days with the biggest events planned are at Moonee Valley, Rosehill, Doomben Morphettville and of course Ascot, where the $1 million Group 1 Railway Stakes (1600m) headlines proceedings.

Metropolitan Race Meetings – Saturday November 20

  • Moonee Valley (VIC)Race 1 jumps at 12:40pm (AEDST) – Bet now at Luxbet

The Rosehill racing action today has a cracker eight races planned with the $70,000 Asbestos Disease Foundation Handicap (1100m) for two-year-old fillies first up.

Queensland’s biggest race meet today is at Doomben with the first of eight races being the $50,000 Sky Racing Handicap (1110m) for two-year-olds.

The feature event of the day will be Race 7 – the $100,000 Ryan Lawson H4H Keith Noud Handicap (1200m) due to jump at 5:10pm (AEDST) where classy runners including Phelan Ready, Gillian Heinrich’s Ghetto Blaster and the Robert Heathcote-trained Funtantes will face off.

In South Australia Morphettville has a cracker eight-event programme set to start with the $40,000 Flight Centre Twilight Dec 17th Handicap (1250m) where Mark Kavanagh’s Rock The Moment is the hot favourite.

Also watch for Kavanagh’s other runner French Secret drawn well for Race 7 the Apache Cat Nov. 27th Handicap (1550m) jumping at 4:50pm (AEDST).

Without doubt the highlight race meeting today is in WA where the Perth Summer Racing Carnival gets into full swing with Railway Stakes Day.

A massive nine-event card will play out at Ascot today with Race 7 – the $1 million Group 1 Railway Stakes (1600m) the marquee event where Colour Correct is dominating the betting.
