Rosehill Racing Tips – Saturday November 13

This Saturday a number of excellent betting opportunities can be found at Sydney’s Rosehill Gardens meeting and below are the team’s insider tips for all eight Rosehill races for November 13.

Rosehill Race 1 – The Kyle & Jackie O Show Handicap (1100m) Favourite: #1 Saramenha – Rated Special to Win at Luxbet

Avoid the exotics in Race 1 at Rosehill and throw all your money on Saramenha to win. Drawn ideally in barrier two the Gerald Ryan-trained Snitzel filly scored her maiden win here on October 30 and has the breeding, talent and early form to continue winning.

Rosehill Race 2 – Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Party Handicap (1500m) Favourite: #7 Honest Lies – Rated Special to Win at $2.80 Luxbet

Best Place Picks: #3 Tromso and #2 Deltona

Honest Lies is the favourite in the field and looks really hard to beat, the John O’Shea-trained four-year-old coming off two strong second place finishes here carrying plenty more weight and drawn wider. Easy money.

Rosehill Race 3 – Stirling Products Handicap (1200m) Favourite: #5 Liechtenstein – Rated Special to Win at $3.40 Luxbet

Best Place Picks: #4 Pimpala Secret and #10 Merger Benefits

This is a wide open betting market but Liechtenstein, coming off an emphatic win at Canterbury over 1100m, can and should win this.

Rosehill Race 4 – Bacardi Breezer Handicap (1400m) Favourite: #7 Upon This Rock – Rated Special to Win at $3.50 Luxbet

Best Place Picks: #1 Purrpurrlena and #9 Turnstiles

Three shortest priced runners for a reason, all have real claims and no issues with the barrier draws.

Gai Waterhouse’s filly Upon This Rock is well bred and continues to show promise, Purrpurrlena won’t win but can place even with a hefty 57.5kg and the Anthony Cummings-trained Turnstiles is the light-weight pick of the field, the consistent Anabaa mare having won three of her six starts.

Rosehill Race 5 – The TAB IPhone App Handicap (1500m) Favourite: #3 Samui Lad – Rated Special to Win at $2.60 Luxbet

Best Place Picks: #10 Winning Glory and #2 Honest Lies

Ideal draw and two brilliant last start wins are why Gai Waterhouse’s smart Canny Lad gelding Samui Lad is the favourite and why he can win.

Winning Glory has the run on the rails and should get a nice run while Honest Lies is out wider but has the talent to place after finishing second to Samui Lad here last start.

Rosehill Race 6 – Jacob’s Creek Sparkling Moscato Handicap (1200m) Favourite: #3 Welkom Gold – Rated Special to Win at $4.40 Luxbet

Best Place Picks: #1 Keen Commander and #5 Skytrain

Welkom Gold is a great value pick coming off a 1200m handicap win here on October 30, while Keen Commander is the best roughie to add into the exotics.

Rosehill Race 7 – Schweppes Handicap (1800m) Favourite: #9 Our Billy Blue – Rated Special to Win at $3.10 Luxbet

Best Place Picks: #1 Altier and #6 Russian Jar

Lots of top fancies here, but Our Billy Blue in barrier two is hard to go past. They’re a High Chaparral four-year-old showing plenty of promise, while Altier has the rails and strong recent form.

Rosehill Race 8 – Soft As Soap Handicap (1200m) Favourite: #15 Shamash – Rated Special to Win at $5 Luxbet

Best Place Picks: #2 Mumslad and #7 Rumour And Scandal

Punters are getting onto Shamash, shortening in from $6 to $5 and the only runner to move in the markets early. Drawn ideally on the rails, dropping back in weight from their last start which they won well.
