2010 Patinack Farm Classic Tips – Emirates Stakes Day Race 5

The 2010 Patinack Farm Classic is on this Emirates Stakes Day, so read on for our top 2010 Patinack Farm Classic tips to help you with your betting.

Our top pick to win this race is Hay List, who has remained undefeated this season with runs in the Group 3 McEwen Stakes, Group 1 Manikato Stakes and Group 2 Gilgai Stakes. The last of these runs was at Flemington earlier last month on a dead track, and we think this will serve him well in the Patinack Farm Classic.

We think that the favourite Black Caviar is still going to give it her all to win this run, though, and she should pick up second easily enough from the rest of the field. Undefeated in 7 starts, Black Caviar has proven to be a fantastic sprinter in lesser races, but we’re not sure she’s ready to win her first Group 1 start in the Patinack Farm Classic.

For the final place, we reckon it will go to Star Witness, but All Silent and Eagle Falls aren’t going down without a fight first. None of these runners look to have the form to beat the favourites, but they would have been competitive without the freakishly talented entrants.
