VRC Crown Oaks 2010 Day Wet Track Tips

The way Flemington is racing today on VRC Crown Oaks Day we are looking for genuine wet track horses that will be coming down the centre of the track.

Looking to have a bet today? Sign up with our recommended bookmaker, Tabcorp owned Luxbet and get a $400 free bet when you deposit $200. Visit Luxbet for more details.

Race 3

8 Whos Ready by boom wet track sire More Than Ready will be a duck in the wet. Down here from Sydney should be hard to beat. God Help Her looks like it can handle a dead track so may be ok

We don’t like Very Cherry, Count Your Fingers or Aintnofallenstar in the wet.

Race 4

Celts should handle the wet and is worth the risk. Andronica at a price can go ok as can Wonderful Lass. Chance Bye might be ok, Dutchys Lass is ok in it as is Spurcific.

We don’t like Curtana has failed in the wet before, may have had excuses but is a risk. Nor do we like Lone Rock.

Race 5

Dead End ticks all the boxes and is by the same sire as So You Think good chance. Alpha Proxima handles it ok too.

We don’t like Yau Chin or Looking Fur Lang.

Race 6

Brazilian Pulse handles it and sat 3 wide and beat most of these last start – looks a great bet at any odds. Yosei handles it, just might need a spell.

We don’t think Placement handles wet very well or Heartsareforlove and we have to pot Sasa who seems to fail even on a heavy dew.

Race 7

Hard race, no real wet track form. Zubbaya has won on a dead track and should be ok. Gujju has won on a slow track at the provincials so is a chance.

Nothing else really rates a mention.

Race 8

Avenue will just win this too classy for them, handles slow tracks ok but class will pull her through. Temple Of Boom down from Queensland is a swimmer will at least place. Rightfully Yours goes well in the ground too. King Carnage is a good roughie.

We don’t like Grand Duels of First Command.

Race 9

Niblick should handle the wet ok, as does Lakedro and Tara Man. Greybeard Riceman likes it too.
