The Grazia Ultimate Style Guide Tips & Betting – VRC Crown Oaks Day Race 9

The 2010 VRC Crown Oaks Day comes to a close at Flemington this afternoon with Race 9 – the $100,000 The Grazia Ultimate Style Guide (1600m) due to jump at 5:10pm (AEDST).

The 2010 Grazia Ultimate Style Guide is set to be contested by 13 gallopers following the scratching of #4 Cascabel, #6 Testascana, #13 Dashatin, #16 Beijing Bolt and #18 Amherst from the field this morning.

Current favourite to win Flemington Race 9 today is Niblick paying $3.40 through Luxbet.

The Robert Hickmott-trained and Lloyd Williams-owned Niblick is a well bred Encosta De Lago gelding coming into this race following two successive wins over 1300m and 1400m.

Niblick has been very impressive in all of their race starts and looks hard to beat.

Expected to improve and step up to the mile well today, Niblick is also the Races.com.au favourite to take out the closing Crown Oaks race today.

Flemington – Race 9 – The Grazia Ultimate Style Guide Tips

  • Races.com.au Favourite: #8 Niblick – Rated Special to Win at $3.40 through Luxbet
  • Best to Add in Trifecta: #1 Riceman and #2 Lakedro – Luxbet

Add value and increase your winnings by putting a Trifecta on the race. To help you pick the top trio we have selected the two other standout runners in the field to add in the Trifecta with Niblick.

Ten-year-old Riceman is an experienced veteran that is still in fine form, the Runyon gelding having won the Golden Mile at Bendigo in September.

Loves a wet track and the soft conditions bring them right into contention, jockey Brad Rawiller likely to settle them at the back before coming home strong.

Lakedro looks the other placegetter, the Greg Eurell-trained five-year-old Clangalang gelding coming off an eye-catching second in the Sale Cup over 1600m. If they don’t win today in an upset, they will come close so add to all multiples.

To finish Crown Oaks Day off with a bang, take advantage of our exclusive race tips at the best odds through premier online bookmaker Luxbet!
