Palomares Wins Lexus Hybrid Plate On 2010 Melbourne Cup Day

The Lexus Hybrid Plate results saw Palomares shoot down the straight to demolish the competition.

In the end, the top of the Lexus Hybrid Plate finishing order was Palomares in first place, Booklet in second place, and Zelsnitz in third place.

Palomares continues her win streak this season, and improves upon her record on wet tracks. The dominance of this win could certainly see her moving up in competition next season.

The stock of Booklet and Zelsnitz will also have risen after their performances, though it will probably only keep their trainers confident in their abilities at this level rather than encouraging a shot at a Listed race.
