So You Think will win the 2010 Melbourne Cup

There is no doubt that So You Think is the best horse we have seen in Australia for sometime, he has won 2 Cox Plates as a 3 and 4 year old which has never been done before. He is trained by the master horseman Bart Cummings who has never looked more confident of winning a Cup, and it will be 13 for him.

The Australian public is behind the horse and the odds continue to get crunched with every bookmaker around Australia, when So You Think wins the 2010 Melbourne Cup it will be a very sad day for those poor bookies. If I was holding any shares in the publicly listed bookmakers I would be selling them now! Interesting that a horse winning the great race could possibly have some ASX stock market influence!

But So You Think is not just any horse, he is a real champion, a term that gets used loosely these days but not in this instance. Being by High Chaparral, the boom sire of staying horses, he will run the trip and he can do it rain, hail or shine.

He is a 4 year old, he is fit and has raced his last 2 starts over 2000 meters or more. He has run well in his last 6 starts, in fact winning his last 5 in a row against the best. He is dropping weight from his last 2 runs and he races up on the pace, he ticks all the boxes.

You can bet on So You Think right now with the TAB owned bookmaker Luxbet at the odds of 3.1, or you can take TAB price plus 20%.
