Today there will be five TAB horse racing meets on around the country, including metropolitan racing and Group racing.
The most anticipated race meet today will be at Geelong in Victoria for the running of the Group 3 Geelong Cup. Scheduled as Race 8 today, the Geelong Cup will jump at 4:00pm (AEDST) and features a line up of quality horses, including some who are looking to use the Geelong Cup to get into the 2010 Melbourne Cup field. In Sydney today there is one TAB race meeting running at Canterbury Park which will run seven races with the first to jump at 1:15pm (AEDST).
Brisbane is also running TAB race meeting today with seven races set to jump at Eagle Farm from 1:58pm (AEDST).
UPDATE: The Eagle Farm meeting today has been abandoned after the running of Race 2 due to wet weather.
Ascot Racecourse in Perth is running eight races today. Ascot Race 1 will start the day off at 3:55pm (AEDST).
Finally there will be provincial horse racing today at Strathalbyn in South Australia. The picturesque Strathalbyn Racecourse will feature an eight race card with the first scheduled to start at 1:08pm (AEDST).
Metropolitan racing today includes Geelong, Canterbury, Eagle Farm and Ascot.
