The 2010 Victoria Derby is the first major Group 1 race of the four-day Melbourne Cup Carnival at Flemington Racecourse and is set to light up the historic Victorian track on Saturday October 30 as the headline race of Victoria Derby Day.
Worth a lucrative $1.5 million in prize money, the Group 1 AAMI Victoria Derby (2500m) is the classic three-year-olds’ feature of the spring racing season and the set weight conditions make it a very competitive showdown.
