2010 Epsom Handicap

The 2010 Epsom Handicap is set to light up the Randwick track on Saturday October 2 at the final major race meeting of the Sydney Spring Racing Carnival.

The $500,000 Group 1 Epsom Handicap (1600m) is one of an impressive seven Group races scheduled to take place on the day.

Other Group features on Epsom Handicap Day include the Group 1 The Metropolitan (2400m), Group 1 Spring Champion Stakes (2000m) and Group 1 Flight Stakes (1600m).

The 2010 Epsom Handicap Field Nominations have already been taken with 87 gallopers heading towards the iconic mile feature.

The current favourite to become the 2010 Epsom Handicap winner is Joseph Pride’s Neeson at $6.50 followed closely by the Gerald Ryan-trained Queensland Guineas winner Rothesay paying $7.
