Saturday Horse Racing for 4th September

There is a great line up of horse racing scheduled for today, including group racing in Melbourne and Sydney, with 12 TAB race meetings set to jump. Metropolitan racing will take place in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth plus there is also provincial and country race meets.

The feature Saturday race meets will be in Melbourne and Sydney. At Flemington today it is Sofitel Girls’ Day Out which features three group races including the Group 2 Makybe Diva Stakes. At Royal Randwick in Sydney it is Chelmsford Stakes Day which also has three group races on the card.

Other notable race days today include Kedron Wavell Services Club Raceday at Eagle Farm in Brisbane, Farnley Stakes Day at Belmont in Perth, Westmead Medical Research Foundation Raceday at Hawkesbury in NSW and Camden Haven Cup at Port Macquarie in NSW.

The race meeting at Tamworth today is an additional meet added by Racing NSW after a number of meetings in the North West region of New South Wales were washed out due to recent rain.

Are you going to bet on any of the metropolitan race meetings today? If yes then don’t go to your local TAB, join Ladbrokes.com.au and you will be paid the best odds from all 3 TABs or the Starting Price, whichever is better, with the CityBest Plus option. Sportsbet also have some great racing offers available for today, with money-back and free bet bonuses on races from Flemington and Randwick.

Update: Today’s race meeting by the Wimmera Racing Club at Donald in Victoria has been abandoned.
