Today’s Horse Racing – Sunday 29 August

Today there is a great line up of horse racing right around the country, with race meets in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, Tasmania and Western Australia.

Seymour and Launceston are running 8 races today, while the rest of the Sunday race meets will all run 7 races.

Highlights of Sunday racing will be the Chatswood Vase Inglis Bonus Series at Seymour Racing Club, the Byron Bay Cup Meeting at Ballina and the Ausdrill Coolgardie Cup Kalgoorlie.

Racing starts today in Tasmania with Race 1 at Launceston, the Silks Restaurant Maiden Plate over 1100m, at 12:08 (AEST). Sunday racing with then wrap up in the West at 19:05 (AEST) with Race 7, Moran’s Store Handicap over 1600m, at Kalgoorlie.

Today the weather in Seymour is fine but the track is rated heavy, in Nowra is fine with a dead track, on the Sunshine Coast it is overcast with a dead track, Warrnambool is overcast and the track is heavy, Ballina is fine with a heavy track, Launceston has fine weather and the track is slow, and finally Kalgoorlie is fine with a good track.
