Betting Tips for Rosehill 28th August:

Race 1 – Tle Castle Hill/Hager – 1400m

Our tip is to back the Peter Snowden trained number 7 Classic Guitar to win, with We Betcha (no. 1), Lacada Siren (no. 4) and Music In The Park (no. 6) to place. Why not try some of them in a trifecta at Ladbrokes.com.au?

Race 2 – Philip Stephens Memorial – 1200m

Race 2 at Rosehill has some evenly matched horses making picking a winner a bit more tricky. Our tip for the win is either number 5 First Look or number 6 Kimberley Kid, both might be good selections for an Each Way at Ladbrokes.com.au. Malambo (no. 1), Comepsa (no. 2), Clothing (no. 4) and Indirect (no. 7) look like good picks to place.

Race 3 – Murtajill @ Patinack Handicap – 2000m

For the win in Race 3 we like the look of number 1 Our Cannavaro trained by Chris Waller. For the placings look for Shadow Minister (no. 8), Legsman (no. 6) and Scottish Border (no. 10).

Race 4 – Group 3 Bowermans Concorde Stakes – 1100m

Our tip for the Concorde Stakes (race 4) is the Peter Moody trained Reward For Effort (no. 2) who will jump from barrier 5 with jockey Damien Oliver. From 5 starts Reward For Effort has won 3 and placed in 1.

To place we like Prince Braeman (no. 5), Winter King (no. 8) and McClintock (no. 1).

Race 5 – Patinack Farm Premier’s Cup – 1800m

In the Premier’s Cup (race 5) look to number 3 Scouting Wide for the win, with Snow Alert (no. 4), Gergis (no. 2), With Ice (no. 6) and Music Review (no. 5) in the placings.

Race 6 – Group 1 Tooheys New Golden Rose – 1400m

In the feature race of the day, the Golden Rose, our tip is number 3 Hinchinbrook. Trained by Gerald Ryan, Hinchinbrook has had 5 starts, with 2 wins and 2 placings. Hinchinbrook will be ridden by Corey Brown and is set to jump from barrier 4.

To make up the placings we like Squamosa (no. 1), Crystal Lily (no. 11), Chance Bye (no. 12) and Masquerader (no. 4).

Race 7 – Winning Edge Sheraco Stakes – 1100m

For Race 7, the Sheraco Stakes, our tip is the Gai Waterhouse trained More Joyous (no. 1) who will jump from barrier 12 with jockey Nash Rawiller. So far More Joyous has had 6 wins and 1 placing from 9 starts.

To place we like Avenue (no. 4), De Lightning Ridge (no. 2) and Dorf Command (no. 3).

Race 8 – Husson (arg) At Patinack – 1500m

In the final race of the day our tip is number 3 Reprobate, with Confessional (no. 9), Stratofortress (no. 7) and Gigino (no. 12) in the placings.
