With the famous Flemington Carnival finishing up last week with the Emirates Stakes Day, the Melbourne Spring Racing Carnival moves to Betfair Park at Sandown this Saturday for the coveted Sandown Classic Day.
The meet boasts a full card of fantastic races, including three Group status events: Race 5 – the Group 2 TMB Printing Sandown Classic (2400m), Race 2 – the Group 2 Sandown Guineas (1600m) and Race 7 – the Group 3 Sandown Race-Tech Stakes (1500m) all set to attract some of the country?s finest sprinters and stayers.
The crowds and punters will also be kept entertained with a number of other great races including the opening race, the Listed Merson Cooper Stakes (1000m), Race 3 ? the Listed Twilight Glow Stakes (1400m) and the closing race of the day, Race 9 – the Listed TBV Summoned Stakes (1500m).
