After battling for favouritism all week with the lightly raced but promising gelding Alcopop, defending champion Viewed rose to the top of the betting markets this morning.
Now installed as the favourite at $4.80 just ahead of Alcopop at $5, the punters have gotten behind Viewed this morning backing the galloper for a successive Cup victory.
Viewed now looks to be the Cups Kings’ best chance at a 13th win in the $5.65million race tomorrow, but Cummings also has two other possible Cup champions in Roman Emperor ($9) and Allez Wonder ($31).
